Sutton has hit his straps in the last two Canberra Raiders games when he started at lock while Joe Tapine (thumb) was out.
It's seen his game time leap from 14 minutes per game coming off the bench in the opening two rounds to 53 minutes wearing the No.13 jersey.
That's how Sutton wants it to stay as he prepares to take on the Parramatta Eels at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.
"I've said it the whole time, I have not come over here just to play 15 minutes, I want to get as many as I can," he said.
"The longer he leaves me on, the better I'm going to be and I'm only going to get more experience over here, and that's exactly what I wanted to do."
Sutton was stoked he's helped his new side get to their best start to a season since 2005. But he's determined to ensure it's only the beginning.
"It definitely doesn't stop here," Sutton said. "You can talk as much as you want about how good a start it is, but it's how your team keeps going throughout the year, racking up games and not slacking."
