A Kaleen man accused of killing Andrew Carville, whose badly decomposed body was discovered in Majura last year, has pleaded not guilty.

Milan Urlich, 28, is alleged to have strangled Mr Carville to death at his Evatt home before dumping his body in a dry creek bed on Defence land.
Mr Carville's body was uncovered during a police search on November 19, more than two weeks after friends reported the 52-year-old missing.
Urlich, of Kaleen, was last month charged with murder and interfering with a dead body as a lengthy investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr Carville's death continues.
Urlich wore a blue prison jumper and grey tracksuit pants when he appeared briefly in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He showed little emotion and mumbled as he entered not guilty pleas to the two charges.
He also pleaded not guilty to charges of affray and resisting a public official arising from a separate incident in March.
Legal Aid solicitor Helen Hayunga told the court Urlich would not be making an application for bail.
Prosecutor Shane Drumgold asked that the matter return to court in several months to give the prosecution enough time to prepare the brief of evidence.
He hoped that would allow Urlich to be committed to the ACT Supreme Court for trial at that time.
Details of the alleged killing emerged when Urlich's brother, Marc Urlich, faced court accused of helping his brother move Mr Carville's body.
Marc Urlich, 43, pleaded not guilty to being an accessory after the fact to murder, and interfering with a dead body.
He was released on bail earlier this month.
Police facts tendered in court as part of his bail application alleged Mr Carville was killed at his Evatt house the night of November 4 after Milan Urlich went to the property to help a friend move.
Milan Urlich allegedly wrapped Mr Carville's body in a rug and placed it in the back of his ute before he drove to Majura.
He crashed the ute through gates and fences before a flat tyre caused him to come to a stop in a paddock, court documents said.
Police will allege the brothers later returned and moved Mr Carville's body into the creek bed before dumping the ute at Molonglo Gorge.
The ute was found on November 14 and police questioned Milan Urlich over Mr Carville's disappearance the next day.
An autopsy showed Mr Carville suffered rib fractures and died of strangulation. A knife was allegedly found tucked into his jeans.
Milan Urlich was remanded in custody. He will face court again on August 11.
