Picking a judge for Eastman

It is nearly a year since a judicial inquiry found that David Eastman's 1994 trial for murder involved substantial miscarriages of justice and deeply flawed forensic evidence. It is nine months since three ACT Supreme Court judges ordered a retrial. Nothing has happened since to inspire confidence that the system is set on getting it right this time.
