It's similar to so many other autumn Saturdays; families will head out to junior sport first thing, maybe hit the shops and then chill in the afternoon.

But this is the one weekend every three years (usually) when we add a quick trip to the polling booth into the schedule.

We won't get to them all (obviously) but we're casting a vast net across the country to serve up some of the colour and characters you might otherwise miss on this Federal Election Saturday!
