Smoke was first reported at the private Fairvale property at about 9:30am on Sunday.
The fire began as the result of an unattended camp fire.
Several crews attended the blaze, including a waterbombing helicopter due to the fire's inaccessible location.
It was extinguished on Sunday night and ACT fire crews are patrolling the fire.
The Emergency Services Agency said there was never any threat to property as a result of the blaze.
