Mr Hawke, the 23rd prime minister of Australia, passed away on May 16.
As the prime minister, Mr Hawke spent five years working in Old Parliament House. He is also the only prime minister to have worked in both Parliament Houses.
A commemorative display has been created at Old Parliament House, now known as the Museum of Australian Democracy.
Visitors are invited to sign the memorial book and explore significant spaces in the museum, including the Prime Minister's Office, which has been interpreted to resemble the office of the Hawke era.
