The team will leave Raiders headquarters Wednesday 10.30am, accompanied by the Viking horn, and fans are invited to show their support before they head up the Hume Highway to take on the Sydney Roosters at ANZ Stadium in Sunday's grand final.
It's one of a number of chances Canberra has to show their support for the Green Machine.
Firstly, the Raiders' final training session in the capital will be open to members on Tuesday morning.
Then there's the final farewell from Raiders HQ.
And finally a fan site is being set up at Raiders Belconnen, with the ACT government bringing in a big screen for the Raiders army to watch the NRL grand final on Sunday night.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner said the team appreciated all the support the capital has shown them.
Canberra turned green over the past two weeks, whether it's sausages, bread, monuments, tram stops or bridges.
The fans packed into Canberra Stadium for the preliminary final win over South Sydney, setting a new Green Machine ground record of 26,567 in the process.
It's not just in Canberra the support has gone into overdrive, but also in Sydney, where Raiders fans are dominating ticket sales for the decider.
"One team towns have that, which is one of the fantastic things about one-team towns," Furner said.
"And Canberra's a fantastic city and gets behind their team, and they're showing it now.
"There's a lot of green out there, the merchandise is all sold out.
"We're told two-thirds of the corporate hospitality purchased have been by Raiders people in Sydney. That's a big thing. And the tickets could even be two-thirds.
"It will be fantastic to see an away stadium on a grand final night with a team based in Sydney and we've got more green there than red, white and blue. That would be fantastic.
"It's fantastic that the city's getting behind us and the boys will really appreciate it."
The Viking horn will accompany the players out of town, heading down Battye St, onto Braybrooke St and then onto Ginninderra Dr, allowing fans to line the streets as well.
Once it gets to Sydney, the horn will await it's massive job - teaming up with Raiders legend Mal Meninga to start the Viking clap before the grand final.
At the same time it's hoped thousands of fans who can't make it to Sydney will gather at Raiders Belconnen to watch the decider.
The forecast for Sunday is 31 degrees in Canberra, making it the perfect picnic weather to watch the game.
Plans are already in place to welcome the Green Machine home with an event being planned for next Tuesday.
ACT sports minister Yvette Berry was excited about supporting her team.
"Families can deck themselves out in green, bring a picnic, and enjoy a thrilling match between the Canberra Raiders and the Sydney Roosters," she said.
"We can't wait to Viking clap the Raiders to victory this weekend and cheer them on in the nation's capital - a celebration 25 years in the making."
