The scary thing is, Dally M Medallist James Tedesco can get better.
But the good news is the Canberra Raiders will use their kicking game to curb the brilliance of the Sydney Roosters fullback.
Tedesco was crowned the best player in the NRL on Wednesday night in the lead-up to the Raiders-Roosters grand final at Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday.
He's been terrorising defensive lines all season, but his coach Trent Robinson has challenged him to get even better.
"There's always better. And he can get better," he said.
"I think he's proven last night, but he's got to prove it one more time, that he's the best player in the game this year.
"He wants more. He knows he has the physical capability. He's got the mind for it.
"How will the game look in five years time? It will look better than it is today and if Teddy's going to lead the way there then he needs to keep improving."
Australia coach Mal Meninga said sticking to their game plan would help the Green Machine contain Tedesco.
"They just worry about their own performance," he said.
"Make sure they complete all their sets, they have a great kicking game and a great chase game.
"They can't control Jimmy Tedesco's running game, they just control what they can do. That's what they'll be focusing on."
That means the Raiders halves Aidan Sezer and Jack Wighton need to be onsong.
They need to kick to the corners and chase hard - the latter is something Wighton has been especially strong at since returning to the defensive line.
"They probably have the best kick-return exponent in James Tedesco," Sezer said.
"We need to make sure we're not giving them much in that regard and turning the ball over in good areas.
"I don't think you can stop a player like him. He's world class, he's probably the best fullback in the game, one of the best players in the game.
"Just nullify him and try and limit his involvements and not give him too much space."
