Police say the woman, 25, was driving an orange Holden Commodore on the Monaro Highway at 7.45pm on Sunday.
Officers tried to stop the Commodore, before the woman allegedly braked suddenly and deliberately reversed into a Ford Territory, which was following her vehicle at the time.
It's alleged the woman then drove off, crossing onto the wrong side of the highway.
Police then found the driver at a home in Chisholm, where the woman was charged with unlicensed driving, failing to stop for police, dangerous driving, not exchanging details after a collision and breaching a good behaviour order.
The woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday.
