Best Roughie: Race 3, No.8 Fusca, Finds a suitable race and top jockey here at third run in, her best form would be good enough at double figure odds.

Race one: 8 Kathaire, 3 Polyxena, 2 Concrete, 9 Away She Goes. Kathaire is a very consistent mare who just missed last time, drawn to get the favours. Polyxena's form this prep has been sound and mixing the distances. Bowman to ride from good gate. Concrete was narrowly beaten in last two starts and will be forward with Nash on. Don't dismiss here. Away She Goes will finish strongly first up.

Race two: 3 Holy Sunday, 1 Dip Me Lid, 4 Sacramento, 5 Sciconic. Holy Sunday is lightly raced and shows good promise. Her pattern and breeding suggest this trip is ideal with Bowman on. Dip Me Lid is in top form this prep and very solid run when narrowly beaten at first try this distance. Can go one better. Sacramento resumed off 17 weeks to win his maiden easily. Extra distance will suit. Sciconic gets a nice run throughout and won't be far away.

Race three: 8 Fusca, 11 Karmazone, 1 Classic Gaming, 9 Mookareena. Fusca not beaten far at both runs this prep and her best would be good enough to win this very open race. Significant jockey change. Karmazone won well at first two starts including this t/d. Super in defeat at Goulburn and will finish strongly again. Classic gaming is in top form and deserves his topweight and will be prominent again. Mookareena is a tough little miss who is due for a change of luck.

Race four: 1 Antonio, 7 Gambler's Quest, 15 Express Courier, 3 Budderoo Blitz. Antonio gets his big chance here at third run for new stable. Has the speed to overcome wide draw and struck a smart horse last time. Gambler's Quest is resuming and placed three of six runs. Nicely drawn and hard to beat if the money comes. Express Courier ran well a few times last prep and needed the experience, will run on well at big odds. Budderoo Blitz - watch market as trialled well.

Race five: 4 Stephan, 1 Handle The Truth, 2 Wagner, 3 Rare Episode. Stephan probably should have won this race last year and he is improving every prep. Wide draw will suit him nicely. Handle The Truth is a very classy horse resuming with top form around him. Great fresh form and well drawn. He will start a deserved favourite. Wagner is a smart sprinter with a big finish. Resuming here and has won three times first up. Good draw for him here. Rare Episode was just run down by Pandemic at Randwick last time and will be prominent throughout.

Race six: 12 Sausedge, 6 Cuba, 11 Travancore, 4 Purple Sector. Sausedge is a smart mare who is very well placed here. Loves the t/d and unbeaten second up. She will get every chance here. Cuba is set to peak at third run and very well weighted. Will be on speed and look the winner in the straight. Travancore is a backmarker who was solid first up. Very good when racing second up and this looks a target for him. Whilst this looks short of Purple Sector's best he has the class to run well.

Race seven: 13 Cellsabeel, 11 See You Soon, 3 Barbaric, 6 On The Lead. Cellsabeel was Golden Slipper favourite before last start defeat and she has had feet problems in the lead up. Her two previous runs would see her win the feature. See You Soon is a very talented miss. Both runs to date have been super as was recent trial win. Stable and jockey in top form. Barbaric looks the best of the colts and both runs see him right in this from a nice gate. I see On The Lead as a big improver here. First start was better than it reads and he is over the odds here.

Race eight: 4 Eltham Palace, 8 Exotic Deel, 2 For Love, 3 Pisa My Heart. Eltham Palace's form this prep has been first class and only has to bring that to beat these. Caught in speed battle last time when run down late. Berry goes on this time. Exotic Deel resumed with strong finish to win her maiden in good style. Will back that up here. For Love has solid form for this. Forgive last run as her second up form suggests. Pisa My Heart is a speedy mare not without a chance here.
