Tapine has been cleared to play the Raiders' clash against the New Zealand Warriors next Saturday.
He was put on report for a shoulder charge on Gold Coast Titans centre Brian Kelly in the 72nd minute of the Raiders' 24-6 victory on Friday night.
But the MRC cleared him of any wrongdoing and he'll be free to play round two.
Where he plays is another thing - both in terms of the ground and position.
The Warriors game was due to be played at Eden Park, but will now be played in Australia - possibly an empty Canberra Stadium - after the New Zealand government introduced a two-week quarantine period for anyone entering the country from Australia.
Tapine played in the second row in the Titans win, but was named at lock and had said during the pre-season that's where he wanted to play.
Stuart had originally named Corey Horsburgh to cover for John Bateman (shoulder) on the right edge, but "Big Red" put in a wonderful shift in his preferred position in the middle.

The Raiders coach said he opted for Tapine because he felt he was a better fit for the Titans.
Where that horses-for-courses approach sees him play against the Warriors is still up in the air.
Tapine has played 11 Tests for New Zealand, with five of those in the second row.
Stuart was happy with his game.
The 25-year-old ran for 104 metres, had three offloads, made four tackle busts and 39 tackles.
He also combined well on the revamped Raiders right edge, along with halfback George Williams, recruit Curtis Scott and winger Nick Cotric.
Horsburgh was also excellent, running for 138m in his 64 minutes, with four offloads - one of which led to Jack Wighton's second try.
"I thought it was going to be best for this game," Stuart said of Tapine's shift.
"I thought 'Taps' played really well [Friday] night. I thought his performance was strong.
"He had some big carries and defensively he was really sound."
