The Brumbies were set to play against the Reds for the second week in a row in a knockout match at Ballymore on Saturday.
"We have reviewed our plans to carry out the finals matches over the next two weekends," said RA chief executive Raelene Castle.
"These matches will now both be postponed for player welfare reasons. There is a window in late May where these matches could potentially take place and we'll look at staging them then before the Wallaroos' Tests."
Rugby Australia has also suspended its broadcast negotiations until further notice.
