Pitch Black is a 90-minute dining experience where diners will be plunged into darkness before a secret meal is served.
"The whole idea is that by taking away the sense of sight, all other senses are enhanced," organiser Shelley Allen said.
"We aim to provide food from quality restaurants for this experience, and hope that people have a new appreciation for food rather than just the aesthetic appeal of the dish.
"We also hope that diners leave the event feeling intrigued and inspired. We would love for people to think about putting their smartphones down more often and indulge in quality conversation with their nearest and dearest, no distractions!"
Influencers might find it hard to hand over phones, as well as watches and any other light sources, before the event begins.

While the venue is yet to be named, diners will enter a warmly lit room, before being accompanied by waiters into the dining room and plunged into utter darkness to enjoy an unusual dining experience.
"The most unnerving part is probably change," Allen said.
"Often these events highlight the difficulties faced by people who are blind or partially sighted and I think that can be unnerving for some!
"We take so much for granted and sight is definitely one of those things. I think using cutlery in the dark will also be a challenge in itself! Although the room will be dimly-lit and participants are blindfolded, they are free to leave or go to the bathroom at any time if they feel it is getting to be too much for them."
There is an option of three two-course set menus, and although they won't tell you what it is, dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for.
Diners will also have the option to pre-order all of their favourite drinks to accompany their food before entering the dark dining room.
The Pitch Black event will run from March 21 and April 1 only and pre-booking is essential as there is limited capacity due to COVID-19.
Tickets cost $90 and include the two course meal and a drink.
