He wants to get the taste of State of Origin out of his mouth as soon as possible. And he's desperate to get Raiders halfback Sam Williams the win in his 100th NRL game.
Papalii was part of Queensland's 26-0 loss at Lang Park on Sunday, as the NSW Blues sealed the series in just two games.
It had the Raiders enforcer lamenting missed opportunities against a clinical Blues outfit.
Papalii said the best recipe to put it behind him was to get back on the field as quickly as possible.
That meant against the Titans on Saturday - once he's completed 48 hours isolation at home and had a COVID-19 test, like Raiders teammate and Blues utility Jack Wighton has to do.
He felt he might only have the captain's run with the team before the Titans game, but felt his experience meant that shouldn't be an issue.
Papalii will put that time in lockdown to good use - spending it with his young family after being away from home for the past week.
"The body's fine. Probably pulled up the best this year after a game, not as much body soreness," he said.
"Yeah [raring to go], especially after that game last night, probably the best thing for me is to get back on the field and play some footy.
"Disappointed, just wish we could've put up more of a fight, but NSW were just clinical with their opportunities and we just didn't execute on ours.
"In State of Origin that can be the difference."

The Titans game will be Williams 100th NRL game across 10 seasons - all but one (and four games) of which were for the Green Machine.
That one other season was with St George Illawarra in 2014.
Papalii said the Raiders put special focus on performing for their mates in milestone games and this one would be no different.
The pair made their debuts back in 2011, with Williams playing his 4th NRL game in Papalii's very first.
They're desperately trying to turn around a poor run of form - winning just two of their past 10 games - but Papalii was confident they could still play finals.
The Raiders were set to welcome co-captain Jarrod Croker (knee) back to the fold after missing the past seven games.
"We've made it a thing in the past to make our milestone games special for that player," Papalii said.
"Hopefully we play well on Saturday and get the win for Sammy in his 100th.
"I just want to get back on the field, go back home and enjoy some family time before Saturday and hopefully get a win for the Green Machine.
"We need it, we need to hopefully string a few wins together and hopefully get in that top eight."
