1. Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox
Another Roald Dahl production has come to Canberra to amaze and entertain. Fantastic Mr Fox hits the stage this week with the perfect mix of digital animation and live stage action. The story tells the tale of clever Mr Fox whose theft-filled life results in his friends and family being hunted down by three humans. Will Mr Fox get caught or will he manage to save his friends and family? Friday, 10am, 2.30pm, and 6.30pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10am, 12.30pm, and 3pm. Canberra Theatre Centre. 2. Kite Flying Festival
During these windy winter seasons most of us tend to stay inside and avoid the cold weather. But when you've got a free ticket to Australia's biggest kite flying festival, how could you stay indoors? Fill your Sunday with fun and laughter with your friends and family while flying a kite high in the sky. Kites and strings will be available at the event, however, you are welcome to bring your own. 3. Coffee class
Imagine being able to make coffee as good as your local barista. For all the coffee lovers out there, a two-hour class will have you living that caffeinated dream. Learn how to use the machine, some funky pouring techniques and most importantly you how to make a good coffee. You are welcome to bring your own coffee machine. An unlimited amount of beans and milk will be provided, as well as a bag of coffee to take home. Saturday, 9.30am. Veneziano Coffee Roasters. Tickets are $115 at Eventbrite.

4. Clothes swap
Do you have any clothes sitting at the back of your closet not being used? Maybe you've fallen out of love with them, or they are the wrong fit. This is your chance to swap out those old clothes for new ones. Bring up to three items of clothing and/or accessories that you wish to swap. Any items that aren't swapped will be donated to the Red Cross Shop in Woden. Sunday, 2pm. WOTSO Woden. Free registration at Eventbrite.
5. Build Your Own Diorama
The amazing Trevor Kennedy's collection is on display at the National Museum of Australia. Once you've walked through the exhibition you are welcome to join in on a hands-on activity with talented local artist Nicci Haynes and make your own mini-museum diorama. This activity is suitable for all ages but children are required to bring along an adult. Friday is the last day the sessions are running. 10am and 11.30am. National Museum of Australia. Costs $15 for a child, adults are free. Book at nma.gov.au.
