Coach Ricky Stuart was left to lament a lack of intensity following Saturday's drubbing by Gold Coast but Starling said a short turnaround into the Sea Eagles clash at Brookvale Oval was the perfect tonic for banishing the Titans demons.
"It's no secret everyone hates losing here, we expect the best," Starling said.
"We haven't been performing recently, it's been tough. We come in here and we know we can turn this season around, we just need to keep focused and keep the energy.
"It's tough to come in after a loss, it hurts everyone and over the weekend we were down and out because of the way that we performed.
"You've got to come back in on the Monday and prepare well throughout the whole week and get ready to go again.
"We're definitely not down and out, we're still fighting. It's tough but we can turn it around for sure and just keep that energy high."

Starling said the Raiders' focus hadn't shifted despite losing eight of their past 10 matches.
"The first half of the season couldn't have gone any worse to be honest with you, we're in a fortunate position where we can still string a few games together and still make the eight and then it's a whole new season," Starling said.
