A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a single-car crash on the Tuggeranong Parkway near Cotter Road.

The woman, who was a passenger in the car, is suffering from neck and back pain. She was extricated from the vehicle at midday on Wednesday.
Emergency services have left the scene, but police were expected to remain there until mid afternoon.
Both lanes southbound have re-opened however the community is asked to take care in the area.
