M16 Artspace has reopened
M16 Artspace has reopened but you'll have to be quick to catch its current shows: they finish on Sunday, October 31 at 5pm. They are the group exhibition Shoreline, Testamur 3 by Canberra Art Workshop, Alana Ford's Black and White Edges and Estelle Anderson's Waiting (for the end of Lockdown). Next on the program will be exhibitions running from November 5 to 21. They include Mark Mohell, Macdonald Nichols and Peter Ranyard's durational photographic show Plain Air, High Plane, investigating the dynamic forces that shape the endless, reciprocal drama that is landscape. Manuel Pfeiffer and Eva van Gorsel's Congruent - Incongruent explores balance: tension, harmony, disharmony, symmetry and asymmetry. The group exhibition Plate Show: Just Desserts is a contemporary take on traditional decorative collectible plates. The gallery is at 21 Blaxland Crescent, Griffith, ACT. Wesley Music returns

Wesley Music Foundation, in collaboration with Ariana Odermatt, is offering a recital of harpsichord music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Francois Couperin and Antoine Forqueray. Enjoy a month of creative journalling with DESIGN Canberra Nurture and experience first-hand the wellbeing benefits of a daily creative practice. Canberra glass artist Lucy Palmer and Sydney clay artist Debbey Watson open a show of new works at Suki and Hugh Gallery, 38A Gibraltar Street, Bungendore on Saturday, October 30. The works explore physical spaces through surface texture and shape. An informal opening will be held on October 30 from 3pm-5pm with COVID-safe measures in place.
