One man has died and another is on the way to Canberra Hospital after a vehicle crashed into a tree along the Princes Highway on the NSW South Coast.

Emergency services responded to reports of the crashed black Lexus SUV just after 9am on Thursday, at Tilba Tilba, about 20 kilometres north of Bermagui.
The male driver was found dead when emergency services arrived, and is yet to be formally identified.
Just before noon, NSW Police reported that a male passenger was trapped in the vehicle as emergency services attempted to free him.
About 1.45pm, police advised he had been released from the car and was on on his way to Canberra Hospital.
NSW Ambulance said the man was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition, with leg, arm and suspected spinal injuries.
Officers from South Coast Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
They are calling for anyone with dashcam footage from the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
