His 13-date national tour stops off at Patrick White Lawns on October 8, 2022. Joining him will be The Rubens, Middle Kids, Budjerah and Mia Wray, with more acts likely to be announced.
This will be an all-ages concert event.
Joy has just been nominated for five ARIA Awards including Best Artist, Best Pop Release for his latest hit, Missing Piece, and Song of the Year.
"I've been talking about doing a tour like this one for years, so it's incredibly exciting that it's becoming a reality," Joy said.
"I love touring in Australia and can't wait to really explore the country on this extended tour, playing not just the cities but also the regional areas.
"I'm also pumped that I get to go on the road with some of my favourite artists: The Rubens, Thelma Plum, Middle Kids, Budjerah and Mia Wray.
"It's been way too long since I've been on tour in Australia so I cannot wait to re-connect with everyone again and play some new songs as well as the favourites."
This will be a homecoming for one of Australia's favourite artists, whose hits - including Riptide, Mess is Mine, Georgia, Fire and the Flood, Lay It On Me, I'm With You, Saturday Sun, We're Going Home and Missing Piece - have been streamed more than 3.2 billion times around the world.
Joy has won two ARIA Awards and had two chart-topping albums: 2014's Dream Your Life Away and 2018's Nation of Two. Ten of his songs are now ARIA-certified platinum or multi-platinum, including his breakout hit Riptide. Riptide also topped triple j's Hottest 100 and was APRA's Song of the Year in 2014.
Tickets to Vance Joy's October 8 concert in Canberra are on sale at noon on Friday, November 12, at frontiertouring.com or moshtix.com.au.
