The single motorbike crashed near the intersection of Parkes Way and Coranderrk Street in Canberra city, delaying city traffic, about 2.40pm.
The motorbike rider has been taken to hospital.
Traffic on Coranderrk Street was delayed due to the incident, backing up heading south towards Parkes Way.
The road has now opened.
