Fire crews are confident they will make good progress in extinguishing a blaze east of Corin Dam on Monday after working through the night to contain it.

Weather conditions look favourable for firefighters with a cooler top of 27 degrees and rain expected.
An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said the fire was still very active with the circumference of the fire edge about 1060 metres.
He said about 25 firefighters fought the blaze overnight and managed to clear a containment line around about 850 metres of it.
ACT Rural Fire Service firefighters have had to trek about two kilometres to reach the fire front, mostly using hand held tools.
“We expect to make very good progress today particularly because of the favourable conditions,” the spokesman said.
Four helicopters - two water bombers and two to bring in resources and personnel - have not yet been able to return to the site due to low hanging cloud.
Firefighter crews were replaced about 7am Monday and 25 were on the ground as of 10am.
The fire is reported to be about 13 hectares in size and burning slowly in a south-westerly direction.
The fire is located east of Corin Dam. The Corin Dam Rd west of Woods Reserve has been closed until further notice although the Woods Reserve camping area remains open.
ACT Parks and Conservation Service rangers are keeping in contact with campers in the area. There are hikers in the area but there are no concerns for their safety.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level remains at "advice".
