Suspended veterinarian Jan Spate pleaded guilty on Thursday to a series of offences, including possessing prescription drugs and pretending to be a registered vet.

Spate, 73, was suspended from practising as a veterinarian in 2016 after a series of complaints were made against her over a seven-year period.
She was not eligible to reapply for registration until October this year.
However, in November, authorities raided Spate's home and former vet clinic in Hall.
The joint-agency operation between ACT Health and ACT Policing uncovered prescription-only drugs.
In the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday, Spate admitted to charges of pretending to be a registered vet, providing regulated vet services and possessing prescription only medication.
She also pleaded guilty to failing to store registered firearms and ammunition correctly.
Spate's solicitor Tim Sharman told the court four of Canberra's magistrates could not decide Spate's sentence, having either used her for vet services or had other professional interactions with her.
Spate returns to court on July 23 to be sentenced.
