Former integrity commissioner Philip Moss has been appointed to the ACT Electoral Commission, as the search for a new Electoral Commissioner continues.

The ACT Electoral Commission is an independent body which runs elections and referendums for the ACT Legislative Assembly and determines electoral boundaries for the ACT.
The commission also provides electoral advice and service.
Mr Moss will be a part-time member of the commission, alongside new chairperson Dawn Casey, and ACT Electoral Commissioner Phillip Green.
Mr Moss was responsible for a scathing report into Canberra's jail after the death of Indigenous inmate Steven Freeman last May. About $1.1 million is budgeted this year to implement his findings.
Mr Moss' appointment to commission until June 2022 will take effect from Wednesday and comes at a time of great change for the body.
Mr Green announced his retirement last month after 23 years in the job.
He will finish up in August despite being reappointed for a five-year term in 2015.
The Electoral Commissioner job was first advertised last week with applications to close on June 19.
The job is an executive level 2.4 and pays a salary of between $251,597 - $262,652 depending on current superannuation arrangements.
