The Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party has officially won a spot in the Senate, following the official announcement of the Victorian Senate results by the Australian Electoral Commission on Tuesday.

The Motoring Party's Ricky Muir, who has previously starred in a home video throwing kangaroo poo, has edged out Liberal senate whip Helen Kroger for the sixth and final position.
The Liberal Party's Mitch Fifield takes out the first spot, followed by Labor's Gavin Marshall, Liberal Scott Ryan, Labor's Jacinta Collins and the Greens' new senator, Janet Rice.
The government's Senate Leader Eric Abetz was quick to lament Senator Kroger's election loss on Tuesday.
''All Coalition senators regret that Senator Helen Kroger, their Senate Whip, will not be joining them in the Senate after the 1st of July 2014, given the results of the recent Senate election in Victoria,'' Senator Abetz said in a statement.
''The Coalition congratulates Ricky Muir of the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party on winning the sixth spot.''
The successful candidates will be be formally declared in Melbourne on Wednesday morning.
This comes as the Senate results in the ACT and South Australia were also announced.
In the ACT, Liberal Zed Seselja's win over Greens candidate Simon Sheikh was confirmed on Tuesday by the AEC. Labor's Kate Lundy was returned in the first spot.
In South Australia, controversial Liberal senator Cory Bernardi was returned in the first spot, followed by independent Nick Xenophon, Labor's Penny Wong and the Greens' Sarah-Hanson-Young.
The fifth and sixth spots were taken by new Family First senator Bob Day and returning Liberal senator Simon Birmingham.
