When police woke a man sleeping in a vehicle believed to be stolen at Fairburn in the early hours of Monday, he started the vehicle and rammed the police car, it's alleged.

Police were alerted to the man sleeping in the Toyota with no number plates at about 4am, and on arrival found a 25-year-old man asleep inside.
When the man was woken by police he attempted to drive away, colliding with the police car. Shortly after he was removed from the vehicle and arrested.
Inside the Toyota, police allegedly found a replica firearm and a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
The man was charged with disqualified driving, drug driving and breach of bail. He is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday.
