And Canberra Racing boss Andrew Clark hopes their new partnership with the Canberra Raiders will involve a ticket bundle in the future.
But for the inaugural Canberra Carnival, featuring two days of racing over the Canberra Day long weekend, the Raiders have come on board.
They're sponsoring a race, the Canberra Raiders Handicap (1400 metres) for maidens, Victor will attend, the Raiders will host coaching clinics at Thoroughbred Park and Green Machine members will get free entry to Canberra Cup Day on March 9.
Clark hoped they would be able to extend the partnership to include a ticket bundle - where racegoers also get entry into a Raiders game on the same weekend.
This year the races fall the weekend before the Green Machine begin their NRL season - against the Gold Coast Titans at Canberra Stadium on March 13.

Clark said it was great to be associated with an iconic brand like the Raiders.
"That could be something that we look at in future years, to do a ticket bundle or a package bundle that we could involve this weekend of racing and one of their games," he said.
"If we're looking at things in the future that'd be definitely one, but that obviously depends how their games fit into the weekend.
"Ideally in future years I'd love for a Raiders game to be on the Saturday - the day before the Opal and Cup - so we can make an entire weekend of it."
As part of the revamped Canberra Carnival, the race club will hold the barrier draw for the Canberra Cup and the Black Opal Stakes at the carousel in Garema Place next Thursday at 12pm.
