On Thursday Chief Minister Andrew Barr announced a further easing of coronavirus restrictions from Monday morning.
The partial transition to the next stage in the reopening of the ACT economy would allow pokies to be turned back on, strip clubs, brothels, escort agencies and saunas to reopen and food courts to offer dine-in from 9am on Monday morning.
There has been 113 COVID-19 cases in total, including 110 people who recovered and three deaths.
In the past 24 hours, 991 tests had been conducted, with 56,106 carried out to date.
Due to wet weather forecast this weekend, the newly-opened drive-through testing clinic at Kambah will be closed from Friday to Sunday.
Testing will be available this weekend at the COVID-19 surge centre in Garran, Weston Creek and EPIC drive-through sites.
Chief health officer Kerryn Coleman has reminded Canberrans to be cautious and aware if travelling this weekend.
"As we have seen, the COVID-19 situation across the country is constantly evolving. We continue to urge Canberrans not to travel to areas where COVID-19 outbreaks are occurring," Dr Coleman said.
"Before considering any essential travel, keep up-to-date with the latest affected areas and travel restrictions. If travel is essential, please follow the guidance on both the ACT COVID-19 website and the COVID-19 website of the state you are travelling to.
The ACT government has also advised against travel to greater Sydney.
