Arawang will meet reigning champions Canberra in the division-one final at Lyneham Netball Centre on Saturday afternoon.

It's the third consecutive final played between the rival associations, with Canberra looking to finish their remarkable season undefeated.

But victory means more than just defending their title for Tara Steel's outfit. It's a chance to maintain a two-season winning streak.

Canberra has won every match since the 2018 decider, a record Kalsbeek's Arawang is eager to topple.

"There absolutely is [a fire in the belly], especially because they have been undefeated this season. Though we know it's a big job, we know what we need to do," Kalsbeek said.

"It's not daunting at all, it's a rise to the challenge. They have been the team to beat all year so we know it's going to be challenging regardless of who wins. It's never an easy game against Canberra.

"It would be [a fitting end] to the season. For everyone, it's been a really challenging year with Covid. It's really important we step out on court and know what we're playing for, we're doing it for each other. And that a win is very crucial for us."

Canberra beat Arawang 59-41 in the major semi-final, with the association securing a finals berth in all four State League divisions.

They also claimed a clean sweep of the minor premierships, with the second division, men's and under-19's teams finishing the regular season on top.

"It's been really special for the season everyone's had with Covid. In a year that's been challenging for people, it's a really nice way to finish," Steel said.

"The success of the club is a bonus on top of that. We're really proud of the work we've been able to do for the community.

"The teams have done well to stay engaged. During the week off, we did some match play at training against each other to help everyone prepare together.

"Especially with the athletes doubling up, to have a week of no netball has been really refreshing for them. Hopefully it's been beneficial come Saturday."

The State League final brings an end to a chaotic season, having been delayed and restructured by the coronavirus-forced shutdown.

Some athletes also juggled two elite programs, with the Capital Spirit playing their inaugural NSW Premier League season.

"The ability to back up their netball from a Wednesday to a Friday was a new challenge for some to learn, but I think they've done a really good job managing their load, fatigue and training programs," Steel said.

"They've done well to support each other to ensure athletes can get through both programs and represent their associations in Canberra, keeping the State League competition strong."

Div 1: Canberra v Arawang at 5.30pm.

Div 2: Canberra v Arawang at 12.30pm.

Under-19s: Canberra v Tuggeranong at 10am.

Mens: Canberra v Arawang at 3pm.
