The Australian singers will be joined by Kingswood and Fanny Lumsden for an all-ages, picnic-style concert at Stage 88. It will be just one part of The Great Aussie Picnic on Australia Day.
"I'm really looking forward to being in our nation's capital on Australia Day and sharing the stage with some of the all-time greats of Australian music," Lee Kernaghan said.
"It's always a spectacular day and an amazing feeling, coming together to celebrate the greatest country on earth."
The event, which is presented by the National Capital Authority and National Australia Day Council in association with Events ACT, kicks off from 11am and will see the bridge-to-bridge filled with a buzz of entertainment with five free picnic-style hubs and the ticketed Stage 88 concert.
Grab the kids and head down to Ankle Biters Club for acrobats, live kids music from Mr Tim and The Fuzzy Elbows, dance performances and more.
Sample Canberra's finest brews and live original music curated by Music ACT including Kim Yang, Lucy Sugerman and more at Rhythm and Brews Hub. Rockin Regatta will star the likes of 5150, Night Train, H-Cee Family will create the great Aussie pub soundtrack. Plus Sand Grooves at Aspen Island with feature Canberra's best DJs playing house music all day long and Garden Jive Jazz Club including J.E.P Trio and more.
THINGS TO DO IN CANBERRA:
Fully licensed bars and a host of Canberra food trucks will be dishing up perfect Australia Day eats at all of the hub locations (although the Ankle Biters Club will not be licensed). Plan ahead of pre-book a custom picnic hamper via Sweet Pea Catering or bring your own eats.
