In the partnership with Gift Global and Babolat, Kyrgios will take part in an expanding program that aims to educate children about the environment through sport.
The initiative hosts sporting events around the world, raising awareness and funds to provide solar lights in lower-income areas.
Kyrgios will coach and play tennis with kids at the events, before passing out mobile solar lights at the end of matches.
He'll start the program when he heads to the United States for his Indian Wells campaign.
"Opportunity and education are two of the most fundamental things that every child should be given," Kyrgios said.
"At the NK Foundation, we strive to offer opportunity to play sport, and through partnerships with amazing companies like Gift Global, we can educate the youth about important issues like electricity, solar power, and give the gift of light.
"Helping them to understand solar as a renewable and sustainable energy source is a great entry point for them to start making small impactful steps towards helping the environment and understanding the concept of finite resources. Like sport teaches us - these are fundamental life lessons."
Sports for Solar has an aim to convert 50,000 households to portable solar light, so far they've done about 4000 homes in South Africa, Cape Verde, United States, Lebanon and Latin America.
