The easing of restrictions - and ability to go to a pub or restaurant, or have a few friends around - gave many the chance to see friends again and eat somewhere other than home over the weekend.
NSW eased its restrictions on Canberrans travelling to the state, and the ACT has now reciprocated, putting coast trips back on the agenda.
Eased restrictions aren't all positive with mobile speed cameras back on the side of residential roads and the end of free pay parking looming near.
On the bright side, libraries and Access Canberra service centres will reopen soon.
The ACT recorded 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm Sunday. Seventeen people are in hospital, with nine in intensive care.
As the territory heads towards being fully vaccinated, the government has revealed it won't ever announce a 100% mark.
