A 20-year-old Harrison man has been charged with child abuse offences following a search of a property on Wednesday, police say.

They said they seized two laptop computers and two mobile phones alleged to contain child abuse material during the search.
The 20-year-old was subsequently arrested and has been charged with producing child abuse material, possessing child abuse material and transmitting child abuse material.
He has been granted bail to appear before the ACT Magistrates Court on February 16.
If found guilty of the charges, he faces up to 15 years in jail.
