Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary of a Braddon restaurant in the early hours of Monday morning.

A staff member arriving for work at The Elk and Pea on Lonsdale Street noticed the front door ajar, about 4.30am.
It was also noted that a number of items and a sum of cash were missing from the premises.
The incident was reported to ACT Policing about 8am by the owners, who also reported damage to an upstairs window.
Police are reviewing CCTV vision from surrounding businesses.
Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious people in the area between midnight and 4am Monday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
